The Buchanon is named after the private residence of James Buchanan, who is the 15th President of the United States.  His residence was built in the township of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  It is a stately federal style brick three-story house.  Our model is named after the James Buchanan house, and it is also known as The Wheatland.
